Laurie joined the Community Foundation in January 2023 to lead the expansion of CFKL's operation, footprint and community impact. She delights in connecting generous donors to the many meaningful local initiatives and charitable organizations ensuring a tangible difference to the lives of those living in the Kawartha Lakes.
Laurie brings 20 years experience in the private sector including 12 years as Partner / VP strategy roles at major advertising agencies as well as 8 years as an e-commerce management consultant from IBM Canada. Laurie is a board member of the Kawarthas Northumberland Regional Tourism Board (TR08). She has a BA in Economics and MBA and is bilingual in English and French.
